MLIS students who do not live within the catchment area of San José, California (zip codes 939xx-958xx ) are considered Special Session students. In order to participate in the (State) tuition fee waiver program, please follow the instructions below :
- Submit your fee waiver application to firstname.lastname@example.org for program eligibility review.
- Once your application has been approved, contact Cynthia Nanquil in the Graduate Admissions and Program Evaluations (GAPE) office and ask to be switched from Special Session to Regular Session in order to be eligible for the tuition fee waiver program.
- In the email please include student’s name, CSU campus, and SJSU ID number/application number.
All employees/eligible dependents taking graduate courses are subject to Tax Implications.
