Beat Sweets Challenge

This challenge invites you to reduce or eliminate sugary foods for 30 days. Yes, you heard that right! At first, this may sound daunting, but we want to do this right before we enter the holidays, so we are aware of what we are putting in our bodies. Eating too much sugar has been associated with many serious diseases, including obesity, type 2 diabetes, and cardiovascular disease.
Sugar contains ample calories but minimal nutritional value. If you do slip do not despair. You can redeem yourself by exercising 30 minutes more than you usually do. This will give you some flexibility to enjoy the holidays and hopefully keep you in check to get right back at it. Journaling what you eat and how you feel is another great way to stay on track.
