Employee On Boarding
On Boarding new employees is a critical part of an employee’s career at San José State University. SJSU is a big university, operating in many ways like a small city, and it’s important for us to connect with our new employees early and often. We want to make sure employees know who to call and where to go for information. On Boarding begins when the hiring manager (or his/her designee) submits the recruitment paperwork to University Personnel and continues through the first year of employment, from New Employee Orientation on day one to Spartan 101 a few weeks later to various events throughout the year.
