AdmissionsAdmissions ProceduresThe department admits students to the graduate Master of Urban Planning program in both the Fall and Spring semesters. To complete your application, you must submit materials to two distinct bodies: the SJSU Graduate Admissions Office and the Urban and Regional Planning Admissions Committee. Each has its own timetable. Approval by both offices is necessary to gain admission to the program. If you are interested in applying for the undergraduate minor in urban studies, please visit our undergraduate minor page for more information on the application process. If you are interested in applying for our graduate certificate programs, please visit our certificate programs page for more information on the application process. We have changed our graduate program application deadlines for Spring 2009. Students planning to enroll in the MUP program for Spring 2009 must submit all application materials by October 15, 2008. Students planning to enroll in the MUP program for Fall 2009 must submit all application materials by May 15, 2009.
