CRED Symposium

Taking it to the Streets: Place Making and Real Estate Development in Silicon Valley

Speakers will focus on place making in development projects in the South Bay, and will use case studies of past, current, and future projects in the South Bay, and will use case studies of past, current, and future projects in the South Bay, and will use case studies of past, current, and future projects as content for three speaker sessions. Sub-topics of each of the sessions will consist of perspectives from developers, city planners, and other individuals involved in these projects.

The symposium is organized by the SJSU Department of Urban and Regional Planning’s Certificate Program in Real Estate Development.

Day/time: Thursday, April 3rd, 8:30 am – 12:30 pm

Location: San Jose State University, Student Union, Barrett Ballroom (campus map)

Professional development credits:  Attendees are eligible for 1 AIA LU and 2.5 AICP credits.
