Kelly Snider is an accomplished professional in estate development, having focused on dense urban infill projects throughout Silicon Valley. She began her career as a housing administrator at Stanford University, spent 18 years working for various public and private developers, and now runs her own consulting practice. Projects she has had a hand in developing include Santana Row for Federal Realty Investment Trust; Adobe Systems Headquarters for the San Jose Redevelopment Agency; Willow Glen Place Condominiums for Toll Brothers Inc.; Downtown Sunnyvale- Town Center redevelopment for Sand Hill Property Company; and most recently Prima Condominiums in Newark for D.R. Horton. She also spent time in the classroom at Stanford University co-teaching a class for undergraduates in the Urban Studies department from 1994-1997.
In addition to developing transit-oriented and attached mixed-use projects for her private clients, Kelly is active in SPUR San Jose and sits on their Downtown Zoning task force as well as Policy Committee; and is involved in the City of San Jose's Housing Investment Task Force.
Kelly holds a Bachelor of Arts (Summa Cum Laude) from the State University of New York at Albany, and a Master in City Planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where she was awarded the AICP "Outstanding Student Award" in 1999. She lives in the Rose Garden neighborhood of San Jose with her husband and children.
