Don and Ann Rothblatt Scholarship Fund

This scholarship, which honors Professor Emeritus Donald N. Rothblatt, goes to a graduating student who demonstrates academic excellence and service to the department and the profession.

Bert Muhly Scholarship Fund

This scholarship, which honors former Professor Bert Muhly, goes to a continuing student who demonstrates academic excellence, plus outstanding contributions to the planning profession, the community, and the department.

Cutting Edge Technology Fund

In the rapidly changing and developing world of technology, it is critical that our students are skilled in cutting-edge applications of digital tools in the field of urban planning, including Geographic Information Systems, environmental simulation, and the use of social media to facilitate democratic decision-making processes. Your support enables us to provide the most current technological tools that our students require to develop their digital skills.

Collaborative Neighborhood Planning Fund

One of our department's key instructional strategies is the Collaborative Neighborhood Planning (CNP) model, designed to provide students with experiential learning opportunities where the apply participatory planning processes in partnership with local communities and local government agencies. Our students engage the community at large in planning dialogues designed to articulate a common vision for their future. Your support ensures that we continue providing valuable planning services to our neighborhoods, while enabling our students to understand the unique strengths and needs of the diverse communities they will serve as planning professionals.
