Urban Planning Coalition
The Urban Planning Coalition (UPC) is a student-run campus organization that aims to enrich the academic experience for all students interested in urban and regional planning by facilitating the exchange of ideas and thoughtful discussions, building professional networks, and advising students of the opportunities in the field of urban planning.
If you would like to get involved with UPC, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or join our Facebook group. Monthly board meetings are open to students.
UPC plans and participates in several events throughout the year, including an annual Symposium focused on a current urban planning topic, workshops, fundraisers, and social and networking events. Details will be posted on this page and Facebook.
The 2018 UPC Symposium was held on March 17th. Click the flyer to see the complete program in a new window.
UPC is a Planning Student Organization (PSO) affiliated with the American Planning Association, and the recipient of the 2015 Outstanding PSO Award for the Fall 2014 symposium, "Boomers and Millennials: Planning for Changing Demographics in the Bay Area."
