Student Ambassadors

The San José State University (SJSU) Student Ambassador Program allows students the opportunity to serve as tour guides and student representatives of the University.  The SJSU Student Ambassador Program participates in various community and campus events that support the mission of SJSU.  Our campus events include Admitted Student Receptions, Fall Academic Open Houses, Special University Recruitment Events, and much more.  Moreover, the Student Ambassador is a critical asset to the university as the first point of contact with incoming undergraduate and graduate students to ensure that they enjoy a smooth transition into SJSU student life.

SJSU Student Ambassadors learn to communicate with diverse audiences and develop quality communicative skills that build their professional portfolio.  The confidence students obtain provides them with an avenue to effectively articulate and express their educational passions and pride as an SJSU Spartan.  The training, leadership, and skills obtained will send a strong and persuasive message to the community that San José State University produces quality leaders, not just scholars.

If you are interested in applying to become an SJSU Student Ambassador, please download an application and recommendation form.

If you have further questions, please give us a call at 408-924-2786.
