/ Activities Staying
involved on campus by participating in Housing and with Student
Ambassadors. Going to on-campus
events like dances and Greek events.
I enjoy spending time with friends, going to coffee shops, reading
fictional books, and watching Gossip Girl. Why
Did You Attend SJSU? I
came to SJSU the summer between my junior and senior year in high school to
check out colleges. On the tour I
went on with Devika, she talked about the statues. Not only was it a nice campus located in
the center of the city, but it was a place where taking a stand and fighting for
what you believe in was appreciated and encouraged. What
Is Your Favorite Class At SJSU? My
favorite class was my MUSE class my freshmen year. It was Play & Creativity. My teacher was a lot of fun, and the
class was so small, it got really close.
We made life maps and analyzed what makes us creative. Who
Is Your Favorite Professor At SJSU? Linda
Levine. She was funny, provided a
lot of feedback on our essays and cared about each individual in her class.
What
Are The Highlights of Your SJSU Experience? I
entered Ms. Spartan, which was a really good experience. I met a lot of amazing people and got to
get the environment involved with the fight against campus. I loved living in the dorms. I met so many new people and really
immersed myself in the college experience. Who
Is Your Hero, Idol or Mentor? My
mom is my idol. She has been
through so much and is still so positive and helpful. She uses what has set her back to bring
others forward. I can tell her
anything and she will always be there to listen and support
me. What
Are Your Plans For The Future? Well,
I plan to study abroad. I really
would like to go to Spain to study Spanish. I want to live in New York City for a
year or two after college, just like Sex and the City. I want to find love and labels. I plan to use my degree in Social Work
to train and monitor foster parents.
I want to travel and I would like to one day have a
family. |
