International Freshman/Sophomore

Freshman admission is based on high school course preparation

  • equivalent to a U.S. grade point average (GPA) of 3.00 (“B”), or above and results of the TOEFL or ELPT test scores.

Secondary level students enrolled in American overseas schools should take the SAT I and should not take the TOEFL exam. 

 

Freshman and Sophomore Admission

 

In addition to meeting the minimum admission standards, applicants applying as first-year (freshman level) or second-year (sophomore level) students must submit evidence of secondary school completion.

Any student who completes post-secondary work must submit documentation.  

 

Recommended for Freshman Admission

 

Successful completion of college preparatory subjects in English, mathematics, biology, chemistry or physics passed with grades averaging an equivalent of "B" or higher from a secondary institution may be considered for admission. Grades and marks are minimum standards and are dependent on certificate completed.

Students with fewer than three years of full time study where English is the primary language of instruction are required to meet one of the following minimum test scores:
