Review Stages

Institutional Proposal

The first in a three stage process, the institutional proposal provides the framework within which an accreditation review is conducted.

Capacity and Preparatory Review

The second in the three stage process, the capacity and prepartory review (CPR) is focused on assessment of an institution's capacity to effectively meet the goals and objectives related to its mission. Examination of existing policies, procedures, and resources is central to this phase of the review process.

Following the CPR review a special visit was planned. The content of the special visit report focused on strategic planning, assessment, and enrollment management.

Educational Effectiveness Review

Last in the three stage process, the educational effectiveness review closely examines the extent to which an institution meets its goals and objectives related, in particular, to student learning.

Portfolio

A web-based element presented during the capacity and educational effectiveness reviews, the portfolio is a presentation consisting of data that supports both the preparatory review report and educational effectivenss report.
