The Web Services Unit is committed to ensuring accessibility of websites by providing numerous resources, including hands-on training, accessibility reporting and online resources for Web content editors and Webmasters maintaining content inside the sjsu.edu domain to create accessible content. The Web Services Unit is also part of the Accessible Technology Initiative (ATI) taskforce.
AccVerify
is software that tests websites for compliance with accessibility standards and produces a report that identifies some accessibility problems. AccVerify is available to San José State faculty, staff and students for installation on university computers, or computers used for university-only related work.
