Getting Better Sleep:

  • Turn off all electronic devices
  • Keep pets off the bed
  • Set a schedule
  • Make sure the bedroom is dark and quiet
  • Exercise 5-6 hours before going to bed

Managing Stress:

  • Dance
  • Go for a walk
  • Don’t worry about things that are out of your control and focus on what you can
  • Breathe
  • Talk it out
  • Smile
  • Ask for support

The Peer Health Education Rest and Relaxation Specialty educates peers on how to unwind with Chillax. Chillax walks participants through 45 minutes of breathing techniques, guided meditation, and progressive muscle relaxation.
