Innovation Showcase and Networking Reception
Who should attend?
All students are welcome to attend, and you don't want to miss this opportunity if:
- You are an aspiring engineer/technologist.
- You want to learn about the current trends and innovations in the field.
- You want to connect to the WiE network in Silicon Valley and beyond.
Here are what past participants have to say about the WiE conference:
“It was very inspiring to see career panel women share their life experiences.
Listening to so many women in such high positions really inspired me to
become like them in the future.”
“Great opportunity to ask questions to professionals and gain insights on the
types of skills currently in demand. Able to think and plan career by listening
to the backgrounds of the professionals in my field of interest.”
“The conference is directly related as I am a Computer Science major and I
can learn about the latest technologies in the industry.”

We can sell a maximum of 400 tickets to currently enrolled students. Please get your
tickets as soon as possible as they were sold out early for the 2017 WiE Conference.
I can’t afford a ticket, but I would still like to attend, what are my options?
Volunteer. Help out for part of the day and get access to the rest of the conference.
Limited spaces are available. Please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
What companies will be there?
This is a learning, networking and community building event. While there will be dozens of industry professionals from an array of companies, they will not be here in a
recruiting capacity. More than 80 industry professionals attended last year.
Should I bring my resume?
As a rule of thumb, you should never attend a potential networking activity without a
copy of your resume. While companies may not be at the WiE Conference in a recruiting
capacity, there will be opportunities to meet and network with industry professionals.
What is included in my registration?
Access to all conference sessions and activities, conference swag bag, continental
breakfast, lunch, and Innovation Showcase/Networking reception.
What is the refund policy?
If you paid for a ticket and are no longer able to attend, you may request a refund until March 1, 2018. No refunds will be issued after March 1, 2018.
