If you use Windows Vista as your operating system, please follow these instructions to configure your wireless card.

Step 1

Make sure your wireless device is enabled.
Note: There may be a LED light indication on the light panel showing that Wifi is enabled.

Step 2

At the bottom right of your computer screen, click on the Network tray icon. Then select Connect to a Network.

A list of detected wireless networks will appear:

Step 4

Select "sjsu_campus" and Click "Connect"
Note: Windows will warn that sjsu_campus is an unsecured network. Select Connect Anyway.

Step 5

Once you have successfully connected to sjsu_campus, checkmark the boxes to Save this network and Start this connection automatically. Then close the window.
Note: Doing so will save you time from performing these steps above next time you want to reconnect to sjsu_campus wireless network.

Step 6

Open your web browser of choice (i.e. Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, etc.)

Step 7

You will be routed to SJSU Wireless Network Login portal.

Step 8

Enter your Tower Card and Password.

Step 9

Click on Sign In.

Step 10

A message dialogue will pop up:

"To logout of the wireless network, return to this webpage and click 'Logout Wireless Network'. To bookmark or add this page to your Favorites press 'CTRL-D' on your keyboard."

Step 11

Click on OK.
Note: It is recommended that you bookmark the current webpage, so you can later log out when you are done: https://wireless.nnu.com/sjsu/loginsuccess
