Participating Programs

The School of Art and Design in the College of Humanities and Arts, the School of Journalism and Mass Communications in the College of Applied Sciences and Arts, and the Departments of Child and Adolescent Development, Communicative Disorders, and the Department of Educational Leadership in the College of Education assumed a leadership position in regard to wireless technologies. The wireless network was accessible from these classrooms and students in selected programs brought laptops as required instructional material to the classroom as early as Fall 2003. Computer Engineering, Computer Science and the Masters of Public Administration required laptops as instructional material in Fall 2004. The School of Library and Information Sciences joined the program in Fall 2007.
