All students taking Level 100 or above courses have been required to have a laptop computer since Fall 2003.
If buying a new laptop, students will find an Apple Macintosh G3,G4 computers or comparable PC brands such as Compaq, Dell Inspiron and Latitude computers with the following standards sufficient:
Microsoft Office Suite (This software is available at a special purchase price arranged by the Chancellor's Office. Call the Spartan Bookstore for details (408-924-1800.) Some courses may require additional software.
Spartan Bookstore offers laptops and software at substantial discounts.
