Masters of Public Administration

All students enrolled in the Masters of Public Administration Program have been required to have a laptop computer since Fall 2004.

Minimum Hardware Requirements:

Apple Macintosh computers and comparable PC brands such as Dell Inspiron and Latitude computers, and Compaq may also meet these minimal standards:

1 Gig MB RAM
140 Gigabyte hard drive
Wireless access card
Ethernet card

Minimal Software Requirements:

Microsoft Project and the Microsoft Office Suite. (Microsoft Office software is available at a special purchase price arranged by the Chancellor's Office for approximately $80. Call the Spartan Bookstore for details (408-924-1800.)

SPSS statistical software. SPSS can be purchased for $15.00 from the HelpDesk located on the first floor of Clark Hall in the Academic Success Center. To order, please make a check out to SJSU Academic Technology. Credit cards are not accepted.
