I took Professor Bentley's BUS 140 course, Fundamentals of Operations Management, in spring 2006 in the evening. Maybe because he knew that most of us were tired after working a full day before coming to class, he always opened with Spartan athletics news. In this and many other ways, he made his class worth staying awake for. When I had a family medical conference that conflicted with our mid-term, he arranged for me to take the test at another time.
He used to joke with us that he wasn't a doctor (PhD), but he was a memorable professor for me.
