Opportunities to get involved at SJSU

The Vice Provost of Undergraduate Education, Dr. Thalia Anagnos, welcomes our undeclared students to San Jose State University. Dr. Anagnos will highlight opportunities that are unique to SJSU, including undergraduate research projects, service learning and internship opportunities, and our award-winning CommUniversity program.

California Promise

Leanna Gervais, Academic Advisor, introduces the California Promise Program and SJSU’s 15 to Finish, Transfers Take Two initiatives to facilitate a timely graduation for students. Eligible students who complete 30 units each year receive earlier registration appointments than their peers at the same grade level. Graduating in two years as a transfer or four years as a freshman reduces the cost of attending SJSU and ensures students can start their careers and/or graduate school on time.
