Study Abroad for All: Becoming a Global Spartan

Discover all the amazing global experiences available to you at SJSU!  We have programs for everyone: study abroad (international), and away (domestic), short-term (winter, spring and summer breaks), long-term (semester and year-long), virtual (throughout the year), Alternative Break Programs, community-based learning, and soon to be work integrated learning/internship programming. In this session we will:


  • Provide an overview of all our programming
  • Discuss how a globally focused program can help you reach your personal, academic, and professional goals (and have a life changing experience)
  • Answer all of your questions about how to plan for and become a Global Spartan!

Peer Connections Student Panel

We plan to have a peer educator from each area (peer advisor, peer mentor, learning assistant, supplemental instructor) talk about what they do and the services offered at Peer Connections.

Get to Know Your Veterans Resource Center

TRiO Programs at SJSU

Find out more about the McNair & Student Support Services (SSS) TRIO Programs that are funded by the Department of Education to serve undergraduates. In order to be eligible, you must be first-generation, low-income, or an underrepresented student. The McNair program helps students who want to apply to doctoral programs and SSS helps students graduate with a wonderful community and academic support. Join us and meet the TRiO staff and learn how to apply.

This two-part event is designed for newly admitted East Side Union High School District students and their families.  Both evenings will overview the Next Steps intent to enroll process, and resources to prepare for your start at SJSU. Evening one will focus on academic preparation and resources.  Evening two focuses on student life and peer support services.
