Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

The Accessible Education Center (AEC) has developed three sets of FAQ’s targeting various interests.

• Prospective Students  
  • FAQ addresses questions asked by new incoming and current SJSU students not yet registered with AEC. 
• Current Student with Prescribed Accommodations  
  • FAQ addresses questions asked by students already prescribed accommodations, services, and/or auxiliary aids by AEC. These frequently asked questions include how to request & use prescribed accommodations.
• Faculty  
  • In addition to general AEC questions, this FAQ addresses Faculty questions regarding Faculty shared responsibility of supporting prescribed accommodations.
