AEC General Education Academic Advising

The Accessible Education Center (AEC) provides general education (GE) academic advising with respect to disability-related limitations to undergraduate students registered with AEC.

AEC advising services may include:

  • Course selection

  • Maintaining academic performance

  • Meeting university requirements

  • Education plan for Department of Rehabilitation (DOR) students

  • Assistance with academic petitions

GE academic advising with AEC is optional. The following major may not substitute GE advising with AEC’s GE advising and must meet with their assigned Student Success Center

  • College of Engineering

  • College of Science

  • Nursing

Undeclared students must meet with Academic Advising and Retention Services(AARS) for advising. AEC encourages students to meet with AARS advising prior to meeting with the AEC GE academic advisor.

Additionally, AEC's academic advising resource page provides students with quick links to the most frequently requested information.
