In response to COVID-19, Baywheels is taking the following actions:

  • Closely monitoring the situation and taking action. We’re following updates on COVID-19, including guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and local health officials. We’ll continue to take the  necessary actions to help protect the community.
  • Helping with prevention. We’re aggressively increasing our cleaning protocols. High contact surfaces on bikes will be disinfected each time they arrive in our depot. High contact surfaces on vans used to transport vehicles will also be disinfected at the start of each shift. Our associates are wearing gloves when handling bikes. We recommend that they wear a face-covering that was recommended by CDC guidance and local regulations. We’re helping procure face coverings for associates.

For updates, visit the COVID-19 response page on their website.

In response to COVID-19, Lime is taking the following actions:

  • We have enhanced our cleaning methods and increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting our scooters.
  • We are distributing hand sanitizers in our facilities. All of our mechanics and operators in the field must wear gloves and wash their hands regularly.
  • We’re following the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), federal agencies, and other global health organizations to collect the most up-to-the-minute information to ensure the actions we're taking are comprehensive and practical. Based on this information, we will continue, pause, or suspend operations in specific markets.
