For many students, the college-to-career transition can seem distant and daunting.  Learning about SJSU alumni journeys to career success can help students build courage to take first steps toward their career goals. 

Share your journey to career success by joining thousands of alumni who have registered to be panelists, speakers, or mentors on the campus mentoring platform, SJSU².  Alumni and non-alumni professionals who want to mentor Spartans are welcome to register. 

Log in at sjsu2.peoplegrove.com using LinkedIn or email. Complete your profile or connect and load your LinkedIn profile content.  Tailor your level of involvement to your availability by indicating your involvement preferences in your profile, such as:

• Panelist/Speaker roles involve supporting student career education by sharing knowledge in a one-time event.
• Quick Connections are one-time meetings with students for informational interviews,  These connections may be scheduled throughout the year.
• Professional Mentoring Program involves engaging in at least three meetings in a semester with a student who aims to achieve specific professional-development goals.  Mentor-mentee matches for this program are made only in the fall and spring semesters.
