Career Treks

Career Treks are hands-on experiences where groups of 15-30 students have the opportunity to visit different companies and organizations, learn about their unique cultures and values, and discover potential career paths.

Why should I participate in a Career Trek?

  • Gain exposure to different companies and industries
  • Learn about internship and full-time employment opportunities
  • Build professional network and establish connections with current employees

Who can participate?

All currently enrolled undergraduate and graduate students are invited to participate in Career Treks.

How do I register for Career Treks?

Register for Career Treks on the "Events" page in Handshake. All experiences will have "Career Trek" in their title.

Don't see any available Career Treks? Add your name to our Career Trek Roster and receive priority registration for future experiences.

FAQs

I've signed up for a Career Trek! What's next?

Please look out for an email from Laura Anderson, the Career Experiences Program Lead at the Career Center, confirming your registration and providing details on next steps. You will also be sent (4) waiver and liability forms which you MUST complete and sign prior to the Trek to secure your spot. Note: Students who do not complete the waiver and liability forms will NOT be able to join the Trek.
