California State University (CSU) – Center for Community Engagement
With more than 433,000 students on 23 campuses, the CSU is the largest university in the United States and has an extremely significant impact on the economy of the state and the regions where its campuses are located. It is one of the major funders for SJSU.
California Volunteers is the state office charged with managing programs and initiatives to increase the number and impact of Californians involved with service and volunteering. Individuals and families can find volunteer opportunities throughout the state involving the arts, education, animals, disaster preparedness, the environment and other areas of interest.
Silicon Valley Community Foundation is a leading voice and catalyst for innovative solutions to the region's most challenging problems. The mission of the foundation is to strengthen the common good, improve quality of life and address the most challenging problems by visionary community leadership, world-class donor services and effective grant making.
It is more than a Development Office works not only to raise funds but also works with the campus to brand and market the university with many audiences & update the university's database records and builds alumni networks.
