CSU Grad Slam 2021

For the first time, graduate students across the California State University system will compete in the inaugural CSU Grad Slam to be held on May 6, 2021 and hosted by San José State University. Grad Slam is a fast-paced and exciting event in which graduate students present their research, scholarship, and creativity in just three minutes or less.

Participating CSU campuses include Bakersfield, Chico, Dominguez Hills, Fresno, Fullerton, Humboldt, Long Beach, Los Angeles, Northridge, Sacramento, San José, San Francisco, San Marcos, and Sonoma. Each campus will send their top winners on to the CSU competition, where they will present their work live for a chance to win one of three possible prizes.

Join us for the preliminary round in the morning, where students will deliver their presentations before an initial panel of judges. Then, attend the final round in the afternoon to see top-scoring presentations from each of the preliminary rounds. Judges to be announced in the coming weeks. Updates will be posted on this webpage.
