Spring 2021 Get Career Ready! Series

Last fall, the College of Graduate Studies and the SJSU Career Center presented a specialized webinar series called Way to San José: Get Career Ready! designed to meet the career development needs of new international graduate students who may be starting their graduate programs outside of the U.S. We are continuing that series in Spring 2021. No matter where you are this semester, our virtual series will help you build your professional toolkit for success in the Silicon Valley and global workforce.

You may now register here to attend “Networking for Success,” a panel to be held on Thursday, March 25 at 7:00 p.m. Pacific Time. During the panel, SJSU graduate students and alumni will share their experiences and tips for international students looking to grow their professional networks and build connections that can help them advance their career.

Panelists will include:

    • Utsav Jain (‘2019 MS Software Engineering), currently working at Corning Optical Communications
    • Payal Raj (‘2020 MBT), currently working at EBR Systems (medical device company in Sunnyvale)
    • Venkatesh Chari Ramachandran (current student, MS Industrial & Systems Engineering), currently a volunteer Peer Mentor for SJSU’s iSucceed program and president of the SJSU chapter of Hindu Yuva.
