The Lucas College and Graduate School of Business

With Silicon Valley firms employing more graduates from SJSU than from any other university in the US, the Lucas College and Graduate School of Business is truly Powering Silicon Valley. Over 80% of our students have jobs in the Valley and they consistently earn more than the national average. Diverse in age, cultural background, business experience, and goals, they have been at the center of Silicon Valley’s remarkable growth. In fact, Forbes ranked SJSU as one of the top 20 “Colleges that will make you rich”. Our undergraduate and graduate programs are accredited by AACSB International, joining less than 5% of business programs worldwide that have earned this distinguished hallmark of
excellence in business education.

The College of Science
The College of Science (CoS) continues in its 85-year tradition of providing science and technology graduates who power Silicon Valley, enrolling over 2,900 undergraduate and graduate students this year.

Our College transforms its majors into qualified science professionals for a global and regional Silicon Valley work force, and prepares them for advanced (graduate) training and life-long learning. Core science education is provided for engineers, health care professionals, K-12 teachers, and other technical fields, as well as basic mathematics and science skills to students in non-science majors. Our students are instilled with a general awareness of science and technology, necessary to be an informed citizen in our highly technical, culturally diverse society.

Women in Leadership League (WILL)

Women in Leadership League (WILL) aims to inspire students through dialogue with successful women leaders. Established in Fall 2016, WILL is the newest component of the Lucas College’s student success program. By facilitating the engagement of our diverse student body with local companies, we seek to promote diversity in local industry. The event is part of a series of student/industry interactions to build bridges that support our vision of being an institution of opportunity. Our WILL 2018 women leaders will be the inspiration and role models for our students’ journeys towards their own life and career achievements.

Mineta Transportation Institute (MTI)
