Laura Pirazzi (she/her/hers)
Lecturer and Academic Advisor, Child & Adolescent Development
Laura Pirazzi has spent over 20 years working in the field of Child and Adolescent Development. Her previous positions included teaching in early childhood education settings and serving as a mental health counselor for adolescents. Laura also has experience as a behavioral therapist and as a child life specialist volunteer. She loves sharing these experiences to enhance learning for her students at SJSU. As a first-generation college student, Laura also enjoys guiding SJSU students through their college journey. She has served as a major advisor in the ChAD department since 2019.
