San Jose Roadside Architecture

Take a drive on South Monterey or North First Street - or just cruise East or West on Santa Clara in San Jose and you'll find pretty much any type of architecture we discuss in this course. Here are some examples to start you thinking. Note, the typology of roadside architecture I've selected is drawn from the Liebs reading - but architects (good ones, at least) seem to love playing at the edges of any preset categories. Classify at your own risk.
