Reading: Rebuilding corporations online
We explore the impact of internet communication on the work world as corporations employ computer technology to improve the quality of information in their offices and throughout their industries. At the same time, we consider the corresponding implications of corporate influence on the internet. Our approach calls for discussion of three approaches used to study these interlocking phenomena: discipline, diffusion, and convergence.
