Code Review and Enforcement

The State of Californian and the CSU Delegate Building Permit Authority to the individual campuses. At San Jose State, this function is delegated to the campus Building Official who is a staff member of FDO: Planning Design and Construction (PDC).

EUE supports the Building Official in the interpretation of issues related to Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical and Fire Codes.

EUE also assists other branches of FDO and the campus community with professional engineering services.
