MySJSU
MySJSU is the university’s student online portal for registration, records and communication. You can use MySJSU to check the status of your application to SJSU. Just activate your MySJSU account, and then click on your “To Do” list to find out if anything is missing from your application.
After you have been admitted to SJSU, you can use your MySJSU account to register for the required International Student Orientation, to register for your classes and to receive notifications from the university. MySJSU also offers free San Jose State University e-mail accounts to all SJSU students.
International Student and Scholar Services
The International Student and Scholar Services office offers pre-arrival information, including resources on medical insurance, test preparation, housing, and guidance for your visa interview. International Student Advisors can also help you with academic matters, immigration regulations, and personal concerns, once they start their studies at the university.
Advising Hub
The Advising Hub brings all the different advising and counseling offices together to make it easier for you to find the updated, reliable information you need. Here you will find information on what a successful student may need to be thinking about and doing while attending SJSU. You can also start planning for your next semester studies.
Campus Computer Service
SJSU students can use their personal laptops almost anywhere on campus for free. The
campus-wide wireless network, covers almost every building the SJSU campus, including Spartan Stadium. You can
also connect wirelessly from many outdoor areas around campus and the MLK library.
Many departments such as Business, Science, and Engineering have free Computer Labs reserved for the use of students enrolled in their programs of study. Computers for free public use are available in the King library.
Spartan Bookstore
Our Spartan Bookstore is the place where you can find everything you need for your classes and more. You can get your textbooks in the bookstore or online. There are several ways that we can help you save money on the textbooks you need, including printed textbook rental, e-textbook rental, used printed textbooks and new printed textbooks.
Martin Luther King Library
San Jose State University’s Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Library is a student-centered library that provides information resources, services and programming
through innovative uses of technology. The university library has a large collection of e-books that may be downloaded to your personal computer or wireless device 24/7. For those
who prefer the more traditional presentation of information, the library houses more
than 1.5 million printed volumes.
