About International Gateways

In 1975, our intensive English training program began at San Jose State University as “Studies in American Language.” Since that time, we have helped thousands of students, from more than sixty countries around the world; develop their English skills for college or university studies, for career promotions or just for personal reasons. Over the years, as our Intensive English program grew, “Studies in American Language” developed into “International Gateways.” Today our programs includes academic opportunities such as “Semester @ SJSU,” “MBA Preparation,” “Teaching English in English,” and a variety of specially designed “Custom Programs.”
