Rania joined the Humanities and Arts Student Success Center (H&A SSC) as an Academic Advisor in September 2018. 

Prior to joining the H&A SSC, Rania was an academic success coach and director of communication and student development at the Center for Academic and Student Achievement (CASA) at USF where she enjoyed supporting students’ holistic development and growth.

Rania completed her undergraduate studies at the Lebanese University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Linguistics and a Teaching Diploma. She worked in K-12 for seven years as a middle school and high school teacher, educational consultant, and teacher trainer. Rania’s career in Higher Education and student affairs started in managing the Office of International Programs at the American University of Beirut (AUB) which led her to pursue graduate studies in the field at the University of San Francisco. 

Rania completed two master’s degrees between 2011 and 2015 from the University of San Francisco. She obtained an MA in Organization & Leadership with a focus on Higher Education and Student Affairs and a second MA in Digital Technologies for Teaching and Learning.  Helping students attain their goals and dreams through education is her calling.
