The Accessible Education Center (AEC) facilitates the provision of accommodations and services for disabled students. Students requesting accommodations on such grounds must be registered with the AEC.

The ASPIRE Program provides opportunities for academic development, assists students with basic college requirements, and motivating students toward the successful completion of their postsecondary education. Students qualify for the ASPIRE Program if they are low income, first generation in college (neither parent has a degree from an accredited four-year U.S. college or university), or registered with a disability hindering academic performance.

Peer Connections staff and peer tutors are trained and nationally certified to tutor students in course content and teach them learning skills to achieve academic excellence. Peer mentors are trained and nationally certified as guides to assist students in navigating the sometimes unclear paths to their degree.

The Writing Center offers a variety of resources to help students become better writers, from one-on-one tutoring sessions to a variety of writing workshops. All services are free to SJSU students. You can schedule a tutoring appointment through the Center's Online Reservation System or by calling (408) 924-2308.
