Non-F1 Applicants: How to Apply

If you are in the United States on a non F-1 visa and permitted to attend school, International Gateways has classes for you.

Application IconBeing a Non-F1 visa student allows you to take classes full time or part time. How many classes you take depends on your needs. Part-time students can choose between 4 hours to 16 hours a week. The following groups of students are all welcome to study English at SJSU with International Gateways.

  • U.S. Citizens
  • Green-card holders
  • F-2 visa holders
  • H-4 visa holders
  • B-1/B-2 visa holders

Application Deadline

The online application, application fee, and passport page must be submitted at least ten working days prior to the official start date of your program.
