Admission Details

Applicant must be 18 years of age or older to apply for our program. There are two ways to apply, as a group and as an individual. If you are applying as a group, please email warshani.wijeratne@sjsu.edu for more instructions.

All groups will be processed for F-1 Visas. Individual applicants may be F-1 visa holders or in a visa category that allows study. Please email warshani.wijeratne@sjsu.edu if you have any questions.

Step 1- Apply Online and Pay the Application Fee ($150)

Submit an online application for the ACE program and pay the $150 non-refundable application fee.

Apply at least 6 to 8 weeks prior to the program start date. First priority will be applications submitted by May 30, 2018.

After you have completed the application and paid the application fee, you will receive a confirmation email from our admission office with your User ID and PIN number to our Admissions Tracking Site (ATS). The ATS is the fastest and most efficient way to check your application status.

Step 2 - Submit Required Documents

Documents must be submitted at least four weeks prior to the official start date of your term.

Step 3 - Pay Tuition ($2,850)

Please allow 5-7 business days for our admissions office to process your documents. After all required documents have been processed; you will receive a tuition payment email with directions on how to pay tuition for your initial term. Review our refund policy prior to paying full tuition.

All ACE Program students are automatically included in our mandatory International Student Insurance.

Step 4 - Receive I-20 and Apply for F-1 Visa

Our admissions office will prepare your I-20 package after we process your tuition payment. It generally takes 3-5 business days for our admissions office to prepare your I-20 package. We will also update the ATS with your I-20 package send date and package tracking number (express mail only).

*Current Academic and Test Preparation (ATP) students are not eligible to apply for ACE. However if you are a new student to International Gateways, we encourage you to consider ACE at the beginning of your program with us.
