So if you plan on buying a KIN Grad Stole please pay $18 in cash to the Kin Main Office no later than Thursday afternoon.
*NOTE* The lettering on the stole will be printed on with ink rather than embroidered (Don’t worry, it will come out nice and its cheaper).

Timpany Center 2nd Annual Open House, 4/27/2019
Join us for the 2nd Annual Open House to sample many of the diverse programs that the Timpany Center has to offer.
Throughout the day there will be FREE land and water classes as well as open pool and fitness center times. Come by and meet our personal trainers, group exercise instructors, swim instructors and the new owners of our onsite partners, Omega Physical Therapy (iMotion).
This is the perfect time for new and current members to check out what the center has to offer. In conjunction with San Jose State University there will be other activities such as FREE fitness assessments and nutritional surveys. Raffles tickets will be distributed throughout the day for a chance to win a variety of prizes.

UPCOMING Lifeguard/First Aid/CPR/AED TRAINING COURSE
Provides entry-level participants the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize and
respond
to aquatic emergencies and to provide care for breathing and cardiac emergencies,
injuries
and sudden illnesses until EMS personnel take over. Prerequisites: Minimum age: 15
years;
Swim 300 yards continuously; Tread water for 2 minutes using only the legs; Complete
a
timed event within 1 minute, 40 seconds by starting in the water, swimming 20 yards, surface
dive to a depth of 7 to 10 feet to retrieve a 10-pound object, return to the surface and
swim 20 yards on the back to return to the starting point, exit the water without
using steps or a ladder. Participants who successfully complete the Lifeguarding course
receive an American Red Cross certificate for Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED, valid
for 2 years. The in-person classroom skills session is scheduled for:

SPATO Speaker: Jeff Roberts - Monday, March 19th, 2018, 6pm, SPX 160
Jeff Roberts is the head athletic trainer at Ohlone College and is part of the California Athletic
Trainers' Association (CATA) Managing Board. Roberts is a former clinical education coordinator
of the San Jose State undergraduate athletic training program (UGATP). He has also
served CATA as a regional director. His experiences ranges from D1, JUCO, to the NFL.
Roberts served as a concussion spotter for the Oakland Raiders and as such at Super Bowl
LXIX when the Seahawks faced the Patriots.
