What is your approach to academic advising?
I take a goal-oriented and solution-focused approach to advising. I strive to create a welcoming environment for all students and encourage exploration through providing information, resources, and support to help students make informed decisions about academic and future plans.
What's your favorite part of your job?
I love that I get to play a small role in helping students succeed and achieve their goals! It's such an exciting time in life and so rewarding to see students grow and pursue their dreams.

Get involved, use your resources, and make the most of your college experience!
What's the most unusual job you've ever had?
When I was a graduate intern with student activities I did a variety things from being in a fashion show to setting up heavy stage equipment to driving musical guests around in a golf cart. There were lots of "other duties as assigned" and every day was different!
What's the best class you've ever taken?
I love learning and have taken a lot of interesting classes! One of my favorites that I took for a GE requirement was World Food Population Issues.
