Chancellor's Doctoral Incentive Program

The Chancellor's Doctoral Incentive Program is a loan forgiveness program up to $30,000 towards a doctoral degree, if an applicant wishes to return to the CSU system to teach.  More details may be found on our CDIP website.  Students applying for a doctoral program anywhere in the United States might find this program beneficial.  A student does not need to have been accepted to a program at the time of their application. Likewise, any of your former students already in Ph.D. programs are also able to apply. The information session for this program will be held on November 12, 2019 at 10:00 and at 1:00.  Light snacks will be provided.  Students can RSVP here and from our website.

Sally Casanova Pre-Doctoral Scholar Program

The Sally Casanova Pre-Doctoral Scholarship program should be of interest to any of your juniors and seniors.  In addition to a $3,000 budget to travel to Ph.D. granting institutions, attend conferences, prepare for the GRE, or pay for professional memberships, a student has an opportunity to participate in doctoral-level research prior to enrolling in a Ph.D. program fully funded by the Chancellor's Office.

We have been informed by the Chancellor's Office that they will be awarding extra "points" to juniors who apply for this program.  More details can be found on our Sally Casanova Pre-Doctoral Scholarship webpage, and students can attend an information session on November 19, 2019 at either noon or 4:00 p.m. Lunch will be served at the noon session, and appetizers for the 4:00 p.m. session. Students may RSVP here and from our website.
