Stellartech Research Corporation: This company designs, develops, and manufactures medical device products. The company is looking to hire one or more interns, particularly from mechanical engineering or related disciplines. The candidate must have strong CAD proficiency (SOLIDWORKS preferred), machining experience, and analytical aptitude. Job duties for the intern include generating engineering drawings, processing engineering change orders (ECO), making revisions per redline drawings, and preparing assembly instructions. National Science Foundation has a number of opportunities through its Summer Scholars Program including the Quality Education for Minorities Network and Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU).
