Event starts at:,2:30 p.m.Event is located at:,Un conversatorio con los periodistas Sara Trejos (Presunto Podcast) y Santiago Rivas (Presunto Podcast y Canal Capital) que explica las causas de las protestas en Colombia y en otros países de Latinoamérica, como Chile, México y Cuba, el impacto del movimiento las Vidas Negras Importan (Black Lives Matter-BLM) y la violencia estatal y policial como respuesta a las marchas, entre otros temas. Moderado por Fernanda Perdomo-Arciniegas (Deputy Diversity Officer) de la Oficina de Diversidad, Equidad e Inclusión. Este conversatorio se llevará a cabo en español con traducción simultánea al inglés. A dialogue with journalists Sara Trejos (Presunto Podcast) and Santiago Rivas (Presunto Podcast y Canal Capital) that explains the causes of the protests in Colombia and other Latinamerican countries, such as Chile, Mexico and Cuba, the impact of Black Lives Matter (BLM), and the institutional violence and police brutality as a response to the marches. This dialogue will be moderated by Fernanda Perdomo-Arciniegas (Deputy Diversity Officer) from the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. This dialogue will be conducted in Spanish with English translation.

Have you thought about who will serve as a strong reference for a future job opportunity? These are very common questions and concerns that undergraduates have as graduation nears. Join the SJSU Chicanx/Latinx Student Success Center, the Latino Alumni Network, and the Latino Business Student Association at this virtual platica to learn more about the career journeys of SJSU alumni and walk away with key tips and strategies you can use to assist you in your career preparation and planning.

SJSU Legacy Run - A Celebration of our Community Heritage - In Celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month and Dia de Los Muertos. 

Time:9:00 - 11:00 a.m.Location:This event is a run that will start and end at the Olympic Statues and will go around the perimeter of the university, including the Cesar Chavez Arc. A number of running groups from San José and the Bay Area will join the Track and Field and Cross Country teams and we hope that students, faculty and staff will join in the fun as well.
