Description

The course provides an overview of five main themes. 1.The formation of the solar system and characteristics of the moon, Sun and planets. 2.Characteristics of the Earth in terms of composition and how these differences create the physical features that define our Earth's surface. 3. Volcanic and earthquake hazards including tsunami that may impact humans when the two intersect. 4. Processes such as water and climate that modify the Earth's surface. 5. Processes in the atmosphere that create weather patterns and ultimately climates of the Earth.
