Dear faculty,
I am delighted to invite you to a special presentation featuring the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH): Grant Opportunities and Resources, led by Senior Program Officer Dr. Beauty Bragg, from 10 am to 12 noon on Thursday, October 14th.
I encourage everyone from across SJSU to attend as NEH funding opportunities are accessible to a wide variety of research topics and interests.

Examples of NEH funded projects include:
- Experimental Drugs, Cold War Science, and the Future That Never Arrived, 1945-1965
- The Smallest Subject: History, Science and Peru's Youngest Mother in the World (she was five years old and delivered a healthy baby)
- The War with Mexico and the Birth of the U.S.- Mexico Border, 1846-1924
- The Warrior's Path: Moral Injury, War, and Reclaiming the Soul, and
- Popism in Stereo: A Musical Guide to the Warhol Seventies represent other project categories.
There will be particular emphasis on programs of interest to San José State University faculty, such as Summer Stipends, Fellowships, and the Awards for Faculty Programs. As part of the presentation, Dr. Bragg will facilitate a mock review panel and take questions.
