NSF | ADVANCE: Organizational Change for Gender Equity in STEM Academic Professions (ADVANCE)
NSF 20-554 - Amount: ≤ $1M
The NSF ADVANCE (Adaptation and Partnerships tracks only) program goal is to broaden the implementation of systemic strategies that promote equity for STEM faculty in academic workplaces and the academic profession.

NIH | Science Education Partnership Award (SEPA) (R25 - Clinical Trial Not Allowed)
PAR-20-153 - Amount: ≤ $250K annually (for 5 years)
The SEPA program supports P-12 and informal science education (ISE) activities that: (1) enhance the diversity of the biomedical, behavioral and clinical research workforce and (2) foster a better understanding of NIH-funded biomedical, behavioral and clinical research and its public health implications.

HRSA | Community Health Worker Training Program (CHWTP)
HRSA-22-124 - Amount: ≤ $3M
Through this program, HRSA plans to train 13,000 new and current CHWs and other health support workers to support essential public health services and to focus on experiential training and employment through registered apprenticeships and job placements.

F22AS00300 - Amount: $500-$2M
The program aims to maintain or increase fish populations in order to improve ecosystem resiliency and to provide quality fishing experiences for the American people. Activities that restore fish passage also support the modernization of country’s infrastructure such as road culverts, bridges, and water diversions.

NIH | Graduate Research Training Initiative for Student Enhancement (G-RISE) (T32 - Clinical Trial Not Allowed)
PAR-21-026 - Amount: budgets are not limited
The goal of the Graduate Research Initiative for Student Enhancement (G-RISE) program is to develop a diverse pool of scientists earning a Ph.D. (predoctoral research training), who have the skills to successfully transition into careers in the biomedical research workforce.

NIH | NIH Directors Pioneer Award Program (DP1 Clinical Trial Optional)
RFA-RM-22-018 - Amount: ≤ $700K
Applications in all topics relevant to the broad mission of NIH are welcome, including, but not limited to, topics in the behavioral, social, biomedical, applied, and formal sciences and topics that may involve basic, translational, or clinical research.

NSF | Robert Noyce Teacher Scholarship Program
NSF 21-578 - Amount: $75K-$3M
The National Science Foundation Robert Noyce Teacher Scholarship Program (Noyce) invites innovative proposals that address the critical need for recruiting, preparing, and retaining highly effective elementary and secondary mathematics and science teachers and teacher leaders in high-need school districts.

NSF | Innovative Technology Experiences for Students and Teachers (ITEST)
NSF 22-585 - Amount: $100K-$5M
ITEST is an applied research and development program with goals to advance the equitable and inclusive integration of technology in the learning and STEM from pre-kindergarten through high school.

NSF | A Science of Science Policy Approach to Analyzing and Innovating the Biomedical Research Enterprise (SCISIPBIO)
NSF 19-547 - Amount: $100K to $250K
NIGMS and SBE are partnering to enable collaboration in research between the SciSIP program and NIGMS. This partnership will result in a portfolio of high quality research to provide scientific analysis of important aspects of the biomedical research enterprise and efforts to foster a diverse, innovative, productive and efficient scientific workforce, from which future scientific leaders will emerge.

NSF | Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU): Sites and Supplements
NSF 19-582 - Amount: $5K-$500K
The Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) program involve students in meaningful ways in ongoing research programs or in research projects specifically designed for the REU program. There are two mechanisms for support: (1) REU Sites may be based in a single discipline or academic department or may offer interdisciplinary or multi-department research opportunities with a coherent intellectual theme. (2) REU Supplements may be included as a component of proposals for new or renewal NSF grants or cooperative agreements or may be requested for ongoing NSF-funded research projects.

NSF | Oceanographic Facilities and Equipment Support
NSF 19-602 - Amount: $5K-$8.5M
These awards are made for the procurement, conversion and/or up-grade, enhancement or annual operation of platforms in the ocean, coastal, near-shore and Great Lakes.

USDA | 2022 Conservation Innovation Grants State Program (CIG)
USDA-NRCS-CA-CIG-22-NOFO0001195 - Amount: ≤ $150K
CIG funds the development and field testing of on-farm research and demonstration, evaluation, or implementation of approaches to incentivizing conservation adoption, including market-based and conservation finance approaches, and conservation technologies, practices, and systems.

NSF | Improving Undergraduate STEM Education: Computing in Undergraduate Education (IUSE: CUE)
NSF 22-588 - Amount: Grants may be awarded in a variety of sizes and durations.
The National Science Foundation seeks a holistic restructuring of computing degree pathways. Specifically, organizations should collaborate to re-envision how to teach computing effectively to a broad group of students, in a scalable manner, with an emphasis on broadening participation of groups who are underrepresented and underserved by traditional computing courses and careers.
