15th IFAC/IFAIP/IFORS/IEA Symposium on Analysis Design and Evaluation of Human-Machine Systems
Call for Papers
The IFAC HMS Systems 4.5 committee would like to cordially invite you to submit papers, posters, and thematic-session proposals to the 15th IFAC/IFAIP/IFORS/IEA symposium on Analysis, Design and Evaluation of Human-Machine Systems (IFAC HMS 2022), to be held in San Jose, California, September 12-16, 2022.
The objective of the symposium is to provide an international forum for the latest scientific and technological achievements in Human-Machine Systems research. The role of the human is important in a wide-range of applications in the domains of intelligent and autonomous systems, autonomous driving, urban air mobility, robotics, virtual reality, and healthcare, requiring advanced solutions for efficient and safe human-machine interaction. The symposium aims to bring together researchers in the field and provide opportunities to exchange ideas and results, and develop a vision for future research.
Silicon Valley is well known for its high tech and innovation, and continues to be one of the top research and development centers in the world, with tech companies such as Google and Apple, world renowned universities such as Stanford University, and research institutes such as NASA Ames Research Center. More recently, the area has become a research hub for autonomous driving and urban air mobility. Human-machine interaction plays an important role in virtually every new technological development in the area making Silicon Valley the perfect backdrop for IFAC HMS 2022.
